Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter, melted - 3 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- cooked chicken - 2 c
- can crescent rolls - 1 oz
- chopped pimiento - 1 Tbsp
- seasoned croutons, crumbled - 3/4 c
- chives or onion - 1 Tbsp
How to make crescent chicken squares:
Preheat oven to 350°. Blend cream cheese and 2 tablespoons butter until smooth. Add chicken, salt, pepper, milk, onion and pimiento and mix well. Separate dough into 4 rectangles; firmly press perforations to seal. Spoon 1/2 cup meat mixture into center of each rectangle. Pull 4 corners to top center; twist and seal. Brush top with 1 tablespoon butter. Dip in crouton crumbs. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 4.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Poultry.
