Crescent chicken squares
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- melted margarine - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- cooked, cubed chicken - 2 c
- softened Philly cream cheese - 3 oz
- crushed seasoned croutons - 3/4 c
- chopped onion or chives - 1 Tbsp
- can Pillsbury refrigerator quick crescent Italian flavor dinner rolls - 8 oz
How to make crescent chicken squares:
Blend the cream cheese with the 2 tablespoons melted margarine until smooth. Add the chicken, salt, pepper, milk and onion or chives. Mix well. Separate the rolls into 4 rectangles. Seal perforations. Spoon 1/2 cup chicken mixture onto center of each rectangle. Pull 4 corners of dough to center of mixture; seal. Brush top with 1 tablespoons melted margarine. Dip in seasoned croutons. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown. Refrigerate leftovers.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Poultry.
