Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- granulated sugar
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- evaporated milk - 1 c
- pecan halves - 2 c
- cream of tartar - 1/2 tsp
- light brown sugar
- 1 stick margarine - 1/2 c
How to make creamy pralines:
Cook together the sugars, milk, salt and cream of tartar, stirring constantly, until forms soft ball or until thermometer registers 240°. Remove from heat. Add margarine and vanilla; stir until margarine melts. Beat a minute or two. Add pecans; coRecipe categories: Desserts, Fruit, Candy.
