Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 3/4 c
- evaporated milk - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1/4 c
- pecans - 1 c
- light brown sugar - 3/4 c
- cream of tartar optional - 1/4 tsp
How to make creamy pralines:
Cook together sugars, milk and cream of tartar; stirring constantly until firm soft-ball or 232°. Add pecans and beat. Drop onto waxed paper by spoonfuls.Recipe categories: Desserts, Fruit, Candy.
