Creamy chicken manicotti
Ingredients/Components
- manicotti shells - 8 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- cooked chicken, chopped - 2 c
- onion, chopped - 1/4 c
- can sliced mushrooms, drained - 1 oz
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- warm water - 1/4 c
- chicken bouillon granules - 1/2 tsp
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
How to make creamy chicken manicotti:
Cook manicotti shells according to package directions, omitting the salt; drain and set aside. Combine soup and sour cream; mix well. Combine half of soup mixture and chicken; mix well. Reserve remaining soup mixture; set aside. Stuff manicotti shells with chicken mixture. Place in a greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.Saut?© onion and mushrooms in butter in a large skillet until tender, then set aside. Combine water and bouillon granules, stirring until dissolved. Add to reserved soup mixture, mixing well. Stir soup mix into mushroom mixture; mix well. Spoon over manicotti. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes.
