Creamy chicken casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- sour cream - 1 c
- melted butter
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- cooked chicken - 4 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 pkg
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- thawed frozen biscuits - 6 item
How to make creamy chicken casserole:
Saut?© onions in butter until onions are tender. Cook chicken by boiling 20 to 30 minutes. Once thoroughly done, chop chicken into chunks. Mix cooked chicken, onions, soups, milk and sour cream together. Place mixture in an 11 x 13 pan (baking dish) and place in the oven for 15 minutes at 350°. Take the mixture out of the oven and cover with shredded cheese. Place biscuits on top of the mixture. Return dish to the oven and bake an additional 20 to 25 minutes or until mixture is bubbling and the biscuits are browned.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
