Cream of celery soup
Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- cold water - 1/4 c
- ground nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- thyme leaves, crushed - 1/2 tsp
- pinch of ground black pepper - 1 item
- sliced celery with leaves
- can chicken broth full strength - 1 3/4
How to make cream of celery soup:
In medium saucepan, place celery, onions, thyme, nutmeg, black pepper and chicken broth. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, until vegetables are tender (about 15 minutes).
