- or 4 strips bacon - 3 item
- bacon fat - 2 Tbsp
- water - 2 c
- broccoli - 2 c
- milk - 2 c
- medium onion - 1/2 item
- stalk celery - 1 item
- or 3 potatoes - 2 item
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- salt and pepper - 1 item
How to make cream of broccoli soup:
Fry bacon crisp; drain. Reserve 2 tablespoons fat. Dice vegetables. Add water and bacon. Cook until very tender. Add cornstarch and milk. Cook until thickened. Add salt and pepper to taste.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Bisques/cream soups, Broccoli.
