Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1/2 c
- oil - 1/4 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- buttermilk
- baking powder
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- cornmeal
How to make corn muffins:
Combine all dry ingredients. Combine milk, egg and oil. Add to dry ingredients; stir quickly. Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake at 425° for 12 to 15 minutes.Note: If using self-rising flour and cornmeal, omit soda, baking powder and salt.
