Cranberry-orange bread

- flour - 2 c
- sugar - 1 c
- baking powder
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- shortening - 2 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- raw cranberries, cut in halves - 1 c
How to make cranberry-orange bread:
Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and soda. Mix in shortening thoroughly and orange rind and juice. Add beaten egg. Fold in cranberries. Pour into 9 x 5 x 3-inch greased loaf pan.
