Cranberry-orange bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- shortening - 1/3 c
- walnuts, chopped - 1/2 c
- grated orange peel - 1 tsp
- salad oil - 2 Tbsp
- orange juice - 3/4 c
- cut cranberries - 1 c
How to make cranberry-orange bread:
Combine egg, orange juice and salad oil. Combine dry ingredients plus cranberries and nuts. Stir juice mixture into dry mixture, stirring just until moistened. Bake in greased 9 1/2 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan at 350° for 50 minutes or until tests done. Remove from pan and cool.Recipe categories: Breads, Lunch/snacks, Quick breads.
