Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- oil - 1/4 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- catsup - 1 c
- medium onion, diced - 1 item
- chicken breasts - 8 item
- minced green pepper - 1/4 c
How to make country captain chicken:
Brown chicken in oil after dredging in flour. Place in casserole or baking pan. To make sauce, saute onion, celery and pepper in drippings. Add catsup, water, Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar. Spoon over chicken. Cover with foil and bake 1 hour at 350° or until tender.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Poultry.
