Cornmeal gravy
Ingredients/Components
- water
- cornmeal - 1/3 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- drippings oil - 1/4 c
How to make cornmeal gravy:
Heat drippings. Add cornmeal. Brown, then add water slowly and stir continually. Add salt and pepper. Cook to desired thickness.Note: There is not much nutritional value, but if you are hungry, it will fill you. Also, it does not cost very much to make.
