Corn muffins
Ingredients/Components
- granulated sugar - 1/4 c
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- all-purpose flour
- cooking oil - 1/4 c
- corn meal - 1 c
How to make corn muffins:
Measure flour, meal, sugar, baking powder and salt into large bowl. Stir together. Make a well in the center. Beat egg in a small bowl until frothy. Pour into well. Stir just enough to moisten. Batter will be lumpy. Fill greased muffin cups 3/4 full. Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes. Leave in pan for 5 minutes, then remove.
