Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- oil - 1 item
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- melted shortening - 2 tsp
- canned or fresh corn
How to make corn fritters:
Sift together dry ingredients. In separate bowl, beat eggs, milk and melted shortening. Stir into dry mixture and add corn. Drop from tablespoon into about 1/2-inch of hot oil in skillet. Drain on paper towels.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Corn.
