  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • milk
  • flour - 2 c
  • baking powder
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • egg - 1 item
  • cornmeal - 1 c
  • wieners - 12 item

How to make corn dogs:

You will also need 12 wooden sticks.

This recipe was originally developed and sold at the Kansas State Fair.

Mix dry ingredients, then add milk and egg. Mix until batter is thick. Add more milk if too thick. Wash and dry wieners. Stick the stick in end of wiener. Dip in batter and fry in deep fat until golden brown.
