Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 2 c
- pepper - 1 tsp
- onion, sliced - 1 item
- medium potatoes, sliced - 4 item
- cooked corn - 2 c
- or 5 slices bacon - 4 item
- large crackers - 6 item
How to make corn chowder:
Cook bacon, drain and cut into pieces. Add onion to drained fat and cook until tender and lightly browned. Add potatoes and water and cook until tender. Soak crackers in milk. Add corn and soaked crackers to the mixture. Heat to a boil.Recipe categories: Corn, Soups & stews, Chowders.
