- milk - 3/4 1
- oil - 1 Tbsp
- soda - 1 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- self-rising flour - 1/2 c
- corn meal - 1/2 c
- soured milk - 1 item
- Variation: wheat flour
How to make corn bread:
Variation: wheat flour1 Tbsp. soda soured milk Mix all ingredients and bake in a 350° to 400° oven. Be sure to add oil to pan before adding ingredients. Bake until golden brown.To make soured milk, mix 2 tablespoons of vinegar to milk and let stand a few minutes.
