Ingredients/Components
- granulated sugar - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- mustard - 2 tsp
- mayonnaise - 2 c
- freshly ground black pepper - 1 tsp
- sugar or 1/2 c - 3/4 c
- reduced-calorie mayonnaise - 1 c
- apple cider vinegar, add a little at a time to avoid getting the dressing too thin - 1/4 c
How to make cole slaw dressing:
For Variety: Add dill, parsley or celery seed. Good on green salads and potato salad.To make Thousand Island dressing, add a cup of cocktail sauce and 2 tablespoons of sweet pickle relish. Or add minced dill, parsley, a cup of sour cream and minced dill pickles for a nice dressing for pasta and shrimp.
