Coffee cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3/4 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• milk - 1/2 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• chopped nuts - 1/4 c
• flour - 1 Tbsp
• brown sugar
• baking powder - 2 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• sifted flour
• butter, melted - 1 Tbsp
• soft shortening - 1/4 c

How to make coffee cake:

Streusel Mixture:1/4 c. brown sugar1 Tbsp. flour1 tsp. cinnamon1 Tbsp. butter, melted1/4 c. chopped nuts Heat oven to 375°. Mix thoroughly the sugar, shortening and egg. Stir in milk. Sift flour, baking powder and salt and stir in. Spread batter in greased and floured pan. Sprinkle with Streusel Mixture and bake until toothpick stuck into center comes out clean, 25 to 35 minutes.
