sugar - 1 c
cinnamon
vanilla - 1 tsp
milk - 1/2 c
salt - 1/2 tsp
chopped nuts - 1/2 c
flour - 2 Tbsp
brown sugar
soda - 1 tsp
baking powder - 1/2 tsp
melted butter - 2 Tbsp
egg - 1 item
shortening - 1/2 c
sifted flour
chopped, tart apples - 2 c

How to make apple delight:

Topping:1/2 c. brown sugar1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon2 Tbsp. flour2 Tbsp. melted butter1/2 c. chopped nuts Cream the shortening and sugar. Add egg, mixing well. Add vanilla to the milk. Add alternately with dry ingredients; mix well. Add chopped apples. Mixture will be thick. Spread in 8 x 11-inch greased and floured pan. Cover with topping and bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Good as is or with ice cream.
