Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- butter - 1/3 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- large eggs - 5 item
- sifted flour - 2 c
- Crisco
- coconut flavoring - 2 tsp
- Angel Flake coconut - 2 c
How to make coconut pound cake:
Stir butter until creamy; add sugar gradually. Add well beaten eggs and flavoring. Beat well. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt and add alternately with milk to the first mixture. Pour batter into 8 x 8-inch pan and sprinkle with sugar before baking. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
