- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- butter - 1 c
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- Crisco - 1/2 c
How to make chocolate pound cake:
Cream the Crisco. Add sugar; continue creaming. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg. Add vanilla, then the sifted dry ingredients alternately with the milk. Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes in a large angel food pan at 325°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Chocolate, Cakes.
