Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 3/4 tsp
- flour - 1/3 c
- firmly packed brown sugar - 2/3 c
- butter, melted - 1/3 c
- quick oatmeal - 3/4 c
- fresh lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- sliced, peeled apples - 4 c
How to make apple crisp:
Arrange apple slices in a greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan and sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon and oatmeal. Add melted butter and mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes or until apples are tender and top is golden brown. Makes 5 to 6 servings.Recipe categories: Desserts, Apple, Cobblers and crisps.
