  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • nuts - 1/4 c
  • Crisco - 1 c
  • sour milk - 1/2 c

How to make date cookies:

Cream the sugar, Crisco and eggs. Add the sour milk with the salt and vanilla. Add the flour, dates and nuts. Drop on greased baking cookie sheet. Bake at 325° for 12 to 15 minutes.
