  • sugar - 2/3 c
  • butter or margarine - 1/4 c
  • egg, lightly beaten - 1 item
  • coconut - 1 c
  • pecans, chopped - 1/2 c
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp

How to make coconut-pecan frosting:

Combine milk, sugar, butter and egg in a saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly, about 12 minutes. Add coconut, pecans and vanilla. Cool until thick enough to spread, beating occasionally. Great on Betty Crocker German cho
