Coconut pecan frosting
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- evaporated milk - 1 c
- coconut
- egg yolks, slightly beaten - 3 item
- pecans, chopped - 1 c
How to make coconut pecan frosting:
Combine milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter and vanilla in saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened, about 10 minutes. Add coconut and pecans. Cool until thick enough to spread. Beat occasionally. Makes 2 1/2 cups.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Cake fillings and frostings.
