Coconut-pecan frosting
Ingredients/Components
- evaporated milk - 1 c
- sugar - 1 c
- egg yolks - 3 item
- butter - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- coconut
- chopped pecans - 1 c
How to make coconut-pecan frosting:
Combine milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter and vanilla. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened (about 10 minutes). Add coconut and pecans. Beat until thick enough to spread. Great for German Chocolate Cake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Cake fillings and frostings.
