Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
  • parsley - 1 Tbsp
  • minced onion - 1/3 c
  • dry bread crumbs - 1/2 c
  • ground chuck - 1 lb
  • bottle chili sauce - 1 oz
  • jar grape jelly - 1 oz
  • shortening or less to grease cookie sheet - 1/4 c

How to make cocktail meatballs:

Mix first 9 ingredients gently and shape into 1-inch balls. Put raw vegetables on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350° until brown; turn once.

Heat chili sauce and jelly in skillet, stirring constantly until jelly is melted. Add meatballs and stir until thoroughly coated. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
