Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
  • snipped parsley - 1 Tbsp
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • minced onion - 1/3 c
  • dry bread crumbs - 1/2 c
  • bottle chili sauce
  • jar grape jelly - 1 oz
  • shortening for browning - 1/4 c

How to make cocktail meatballs:

Sauce:1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce1 (10 oz.) jar grape jelly Combine all ingredients. Form meatballs and brown in shortening. Do not overcook the meatballs. Cook just until done. Remove from pan; drain and set aside. Simmer meatballs in sauce for 30 minutes. The secret is the grape jelly!
