Cloverleaf bran rolls
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- flour - 3 4
- melted butter - 1 item
- boiling water - 1/2 c
- shortening - 3 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
- lukewarm water - 1/2 c
- All-Bran cereal - 1/2 c
How to make cloverleaf bran rolls:
Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl. Let cool to lukewarm. Add remaining ingredients. Use enough flour to make a soft dough (sticky). Cover bowl and let rise until doubled in bulk. Punch down and shape into balls. Dip balls in butter and place 3 in each cup of a muffin pan that has been well greased. Let rise until doubled. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes.
