Pecan pie

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• pecan halves
• margarine, melted - 2 Tbsp
• eggs, slightly beaten - 3 item
• unbaked pie shell 9-inch - 1 item
• Karo syrup light or dark - 1 c

How to make pecan pie:

In a large bowl, stir the first 5 ingredients until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake in 350° oven for 50 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool. Serves 8.
