Ingredients/Components

  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • cans minced clams - 2 oz
  • large onion, chopped - 1 item
  • or 4 potatoes, peeled and cubed - 3 item
  • slices salt pork or bacon, browned and chopped fine - 2 item
  • half and half for New England style - 2 c
  • tomato juice for Manhattan style - 2 c

How to make clam chowder:
