Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- butter or margarine - 1 item
- water or milk - 1 item
- hot roll mix, made from directions on box - 1 item
- cinnamon/sugar mix - 1 item
- Preheat the oven to 350°
How to make cinnamon rolls:
Make dough from the hot roll mix, as the directions indicate. Preheat the oven to 350°.Roll out the dough on a floured surface to between 1/8-inch and 1/4-inch. Spread butter on the flat dough, covering the entire pieces evenly. Sprinkle cinnamon/sugar mixture over the batter evenly. Roll the flattened dough into a tube and using the thread or dental floss, cut the tube into 3/4 to 1-inch sections.
Lie the section flat in the baking dish. Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes or until the cinnamon-sugar is bubbling and the dough is browned.Glaze: approximately 1 c. powdered sugar water or milk1/2 tsp. vanilla Add water or milk to powdered sugar, slowly, until desired consistency and add vanilla. Glaze rolls.
Can substitute orange juice concentrate for water and omit vanilla.
