Ingredients/Components

  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • soy sauce - 1/4 c
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
  • diced celery - 2 c
  • uncooked rice - 1 c
  • cans water - 2 item
  • hamburger, fried with 1 medium onion

How to make chow mein:

Mix together and bake, covered, for 30 minutes at 350°, then 1 hour, uncovered. May add water chestnuts and/or slivered almonds.

For a quicker dish, use Minute rice and microwave, covered, about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Garnish with Chinese noodles.
