Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 4 item
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- egg yolks - 2 item
- boiling water - 1 c
- shortening - 1/2 c
How to make cream puffs:
Filling:1/2 c. sugar5 Tbsp. flour1/4 tsp. salt2 c. milk2 egg yolks Mix shortening and boiling water together. Bring to boil. Add salt and flour while still on heat and stir until it leaves edges of pan and forms a ball. Take off heat and fold in eggs. Drop by spoonful on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 450° for 20 minutes. Cool.Cook filling ingredients until thick; stir constantly. Cool. Fill puffs.
