Ingredients/Components
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- bunch celery, chopped - 1 item
- box Minute rice - 1 item
- or 5 onions, chopped - 4 item
- or 2 chickens, boiled, boned and skinned - 1 item
- or 2 cans bean sprouts - 1 item
How to make chow mein:
Boil chicken. Cool and pick off bones. Cut up celery and onions. Steam in separate pans until tender. (Drain off water.) Drain bean sprouts. Add celery, onions, bean sprouts and chicken. Mix all together. Heat; do not cook. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook rice. Serve over rice or chow mein noodles.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Time to make.
