Ingredients/Components

  • soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
  • can water - 1 item
  • raw rice - 1/2 c
  • large onions - 2 item
  • bunch celery, chopped - 1 item
  • hamburger or chop suey meat, browned - 1 lb

How to make slow boat to china:

Add onions and celery to meat. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cook together. In a 2-quart casserole, mix rice, soy sauce, soup and water. Mix well and add hamburger mixture to this. Bake at 300° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
