Chocolate toffee trifle
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- milk
- Cool Whip - 16 oz
- small box instant chocolate pudding - 1 item
- kahlua - 1/2 c
- oil as indicated on box - 1 item
- Heath bars, freeze these
How to make chocolate toffee trifle:
Make devil's food cake following instructions on box. Let cake cool and then cut into 1-inch squares. Mix dry pudding mixture with the milk and kahlua. Crush frozen Heath bars and put aside.Put 1/2 of cake cubes into a serving bowl. Drizzle 1/2 of the pudding mixture on top of the cake cubes. Spread 1/2 Cool Whip on the cake and pudding. Sprinkle 1/2 of the crushed Heath bars on top. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Put in refrigerator overnight and serve!
