Chocolate toffee bar dessert
Ingredients/Components
- cup flour - 1 item
- cup sugar - 1/4 item
- cup butter or margarine, melted - 1/2 item
- cups cold milk - 2 item
- cup pecans, toasted and finely chopped - 1/2 item
- cup toffee bits, divided - 1 item
- packages 4-serving size each Jell-O Chocolate Flavor Instant Pudding - 2 item
- tub 8 ounces Cool Whip whipped topping, thawed, divided - 1 item
How to make chocolate toffee bar dessert:
Mix flour, pecans, sugar, butter and 1/2 cup of the toffee bits in large bowl until well mixed. Press firmly onto bottom of 13x9 inch pan. Bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Pour milk into large bowl. Add pudding mixes and stir with wire whisk for one minute or until well blended. Spread 1 1/2 cups pudding on bottom of crust. Gently stir 1/2 of the whipped topping into remaining pudding. Spread over pudding in pan. Top with the remaining whipped topping. Sprinkle with remaining toffee bits.
