Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 4 item
  • water - 1/4 c
  • box yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • Wesson oil - 1 c
  • small box orange jello - 1 item
  • small can apricot nectar - 1 item

How to make apricot nectar cake:

Mix cake mix (dry) and jello (dry). Add eggs, oil and 1 small can apricot nectar. Mix well. Bake at 375° for 35 to 45 minutes in Bundt pan.

While cake bakes, combine powdered sugar and 1 small can apricot nectar; heat until hot. When cake comes out of oven, poke holes and pour half of mixture over it. After it seeps in, turn cake over on cake plate and poke holes. Pour rest of mixture over it.

If you can't find small can of apricot nectar, get a large can and use 3/4 cup of it and add 1/4 cup of water for cake. Use rest of juice and 1/4 cup of water for icing. This is not as good. The apricot nectar comes in a 6 pack.
