Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- semi-sweet chocolate chips - 1/4 c
- all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
- shredded coconut - 1/4 c
- margarine, softened - 1/4 c
- unsweetened chocolate, melted - 1 oz
- light corn syrup - 2/3 c
- dark corn syrup - 2/3 c
- brown sugar, packed - 1/4 c
- walnut halves - 6 item
- walnut pieces - 1/2 c
- 8-inch unbaked pie crust
How to make chocolate pie:
Combine the first ten ingredients in a large bowl. Blend well. Fold in nuts, coconut and chocolate chips. Pour into pie shell. Top with walnut halves. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 375° and bake 40 to 45 minutes, shielding top with foil if necessary to prevent overbrowning.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
