- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 3 c
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 item
- butter - 1 item
- cocoa - 1/3 c
- margarine - 1/4 c
- graham crackers - 1 item
- instant French vanilla pudding
How to make chocolate eclair cake:
Fudge Frosting:1 c. sugar1/8 tsp. salt1/3 c. cocoa1/4 c. milk1/4 c. margarine1 tsp. vanilla Cake: Butter a 9 x 13-inch pan and line bottom with whole graham crackers. Mix together instant pudding and milk; beat until thickened. Blend in Cool Whip. Pour 1/2 over crackers. Add another layer of crackers; pour rest of pudding mix. Top with another layer of crackers. Spread with Fudge Frosting and sprinkle with chopped nuts.Fudge Frosting: Make first and let cool. Combine sugar, salt, cocoa and milk. Stir well and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute; remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. Let cool, then beat until smooth and thick. Spread over top of cake. Can chop nuts in the blender. Refrigerate overnight.
