Ingredients/Components
- oats - 1 c
- water - 2 c
- eggs, separated - 2 item
- butter, melted - 2 Tbsp
- honey - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- raisins - 1/3 c
How to make baked oatmeal:
Cook oats in water with salt for 5 minutes. Beat egg whites until stiff. Mix oats, egg yolks, melted butter, honey and raisins. Fold in egg whites. Pour into well-greased 8-inch pan and cook at 400° for 15 minutes or until set in the middle and light brown. Recipe may be doubled.Recipe categories: Desserts, Breakfast, Granola and porridge.
