Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- water - 1 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- confectioners sugar - 1 lb
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- plain flour - 2 c
- Icing:1 stick margarine
How to make chocolate cake:
Icing:1 stick margarine1/4 c. cocoa6 Tbsp. buttermilk1 tsp. vanilla1 lb. confectioners sugar Cake: Melt together oleo, oil, cocoa and water over low heat. Mix together with remaining ingredients. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes in a 9 x 13-inch pan.Icing: Mix together margarine, cocoa and buttermilk. Slowly bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Add confectioners sugar and vanilla. Immediately pour on cooled cake.
