  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • water - 1 c
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • cocoa - 4 Tbsp
  • confectioners sugar - 1 lb
  • buttermilk - 1/2 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • plain flour - 2 c
  • Icing:1 stick margarine

How to make chocolate cake:

Icing:1 stick margarine1/4 c. cocoa6 Tbsp. buttermilk1 tsp. vanilla1 lb. confectioners sugar Cake: Melt together oleo, oil, cocoa and water over low heat. Mix together with remaining ingredients. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

Icing: Mix together margarine, cocoa and buttermilk. Slowly bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Add confectioners sugar and vanilla. Immediately pour on cooled cake.
