Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/3 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- cooking oil - 1/2 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- lightly beaten eggs - 2 item
- Frosting:1 stick margarine
How to make sheet cake brownies:
Frosting:1 stick margarine4 Tbsp. cocoa1/3 c. milk1 box powdered sugar1/2 c. chopped nuts Sift together the sugar and flour. In a saucepan, mix margarine, oil, cocoa and water. Bring to a boil. Pour over sugar and flour; mix well. Add buttermilk, eggs, vanilla and soda. Mix well; pour into 15 x 18-inch sheet pan. Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.Frosting: Five minutes before cake is done, put margarine, cocoa and milk into saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add sugar and nuts; beat well. Spread over the hot cake as soon as it is removed from the oven. Cut in squares when cool.
