Chinese walnut chicken
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cornstarch
- cooking oil - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- soy sauce
- whole chicken breasts - 3 item
- diced, cooked ham - 1 c
- chicken bouillon - 1 c
- coarsely chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
How to make chinese walnut chicken:
Skin and bone chicken; cut into 1-inch pieces. Heat oil; saute walnuts 2 minutes. Remove from pan. Add chicken and stir-fry 2 minutes. Add ham and walnuts; stir-fry 5 minutes. Stir in soy sauce, salt, pepper, sugar and chicken broth; cook 2 minutes. Mix cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of water and stir into mixture to slightly thicken. Serve over cooked rice.
