Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- ground beef - 1/2 lb
- can condensed beef broth - 1 1/2
- can tomatoes
- diced peeled potatoes - 2 c
- soup can water - 1 item
- leftover peas or green beans - 1 c
How to make chili soup:
Brown meat in large saucepan. Drain off fat. Add onion and celery, cook until vegetables are tender. Stir in tomatoes, potatoes, beef broth, water, chili powder, salt and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and cook until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes. Stir in peas or beans and heat through.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Ground beef, Beef.
