Chili rellenos casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- flour - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- Monterey Jack cheese, sliced - 12 oz
- cracker crumbs for topping - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese, sliced - 18 oz
- large can green chilies - 1 item
How to make chili rellenos casserole:
Lay slices of Monterey Jack cheese on bottom of 2-quart rectangular casserole dish. Split drained chilies and lay flat on top of cheese. Place slices of Cheddar cheese on top of chilies.Mix eggs, milk and flour. Pour over chilies and cheese. Sprinkle cracker crumbs on top. Bake in preheated oven at 325° for 45 minutes. Let set a few minutes before cutting into squares to serve.
