Ingredients/Components

  • milk
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 1/4 c
  • beaten eggs - 4 item
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • ground chuck - 1 lb
  • shredded sharp Cheddar
  • cans green chilis - 2 oz
  • several dashes hot pepper sauce if desired - 1 item

How to make chili rellenos casserole:

Brown ground chuck and onion in skillet; drain off fat. Sprinkle meat with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Place 1/2 of chilis in 10 x 6 x 1 1/2-baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Top with meat mixture. Arrange remaining chilis over meat.
